BTCPrague (npub167n…zu3r) a moment ago. Ironically, perhaps, you seemed to have argued both the thesis and antithesis on many of your points regarding the commons, capital, and the invisible hand.
Was the crux of your talk to suggest we practice the Hegelian dialectic at all times - because at points in all of history we may have been right or wrong to act in the way we did at varying points?
For example, at one point, the monarchy may have been the right structure for the land, to ensure its proper stewardship and prosperity. Then realising this ownership would actually be better if it were decentralised we created the Magna Carta.
And for example, the invisible hand worked until we had corporations who had a duty to their customers and employees, until the stock market was created, and now we need some other structure.
Thought provoking talk for sure. Just wanted to make sure I got your main (anti)thesis…😉
