A recent reader who read The Cantata of the Wild Soul said it took her a bit to finish reading because every scene Parthia was emotionally raw and vulnerable just gutted her. The lullaby scene hit her extra hard because she'd been in a similar situation and she viscerally understood just how small, alone, and scared Parthia felt without Pintact to hold & comfort her.
