On Friday, I ordered some books on Amazon that I couldn't find at any library I have access to. I used Amex points to pay for them. The order went through. The next day, I got an email from Amazon saying the payment was declined, and the order was cancelled. I went on the Amex site and the order had been cancelled, but there was a one-click button to change payment method. I just put it on a different card. Today, the order was cancelled again. Same reason. What gives?
