as I was walking home, there was some girl who thought she startled me, but really I was burping but it didn't come all the way out.

as I turn my head I explained as such, and then just stood there.

she proceeded to munch on the chips or whatever it was she'd bought, and shuffled around, then i heard chips behind me and felt her presence (interesting aura, this one.) pushes the walk button. I turn around and say something, of which I forgot, and then the signal goes, we cross the street,

as we're crossing she says something about people needing to relax, I thanked her for being happy looking and smiling and not being glum and the like. I agree about what she said and indicate as much by a casual Yes and supporting statement of taking shoes off and walking, she mentions sitting in the grass, she looks down but I don't notice it, and says "today sir, we are matching" I look down and she's got on exactly the same birkenstocks as I do. ha...

as we cross the street, I ask her if she's catching the bus, and ask her what her name is, and say that it's nice to meet you, and she says you too, and just as I'm going to tell her my name, some camaro with no exhaust headers or a glasspack rips by and "lost in translation" she points to the bus stop, smiles a bit, and as I say maybe I'll see you around sometime, she says "mmhmm," kind of does a little skipping into the grass three four step thing, stops, gives me a look, and goes back to her chips as I walk by and go home.


I haven't had that happen in years LOL that was fun. Best part? She didn't smell vaccinated. But she was still eating corn chips or something like that. :) anyway, the whole thing made me smile so figured I'd share.
