Yeah I think that's a trend of sarcastic obscurantism to reinforce an in-group. Like "Haha I'm gonna tell the tranny ywnbaw and chuck, sneed, and dilate and then feel smug when they don't know what the fuck I'm saying." Nowadays everyone knows those, but another example might be redpill/incel shit where they like to say NAWALT - "not all women are like that" - as a sarcastic refrain
