"content": "Given that a key cause of the asset price inflation that is at the centre of the UK housing crisis, perhaps unsurprisingly I am going to disagree; as I have said before it is the treatment of housing as an asset class that has contributed to this mess.... and on quality; given the appalling quality of new houses in the UK, even with the current building regulations, there would be no political support for further deregulation. Things may be different elsewhere...",
