There was a secret plan in 1989 for a far-right military coup in #Peru called the Green Plan (Plan Verde). With pieces of it reported 1st by the journal "Oiga" on July 1993, revealed were military plans to create a military backed neoliberal gov’t like Pinochet’s Chile, persecute leftists, & mass sterilize Indigenous women. This outlined the dictatorship of Pres. Alberto Fujimori, founded on a 1992 miltary coup called the self-coup (auto-golpe). He's now going free.
