I get the background noise/music thing (no idea why everyone thinks having music under their voice is such a great idea...) but that's not why YT subs don't work. I watch a log of high-quality, straight to mic, music/noise free, well-enunciated videos & it doesn't seem to matter in the slightest - autosubs are almost always nigh-incomprehensible, to the point that when YT subs aren't I assume they're done manually.
