the domains in nsites are just gateways. An nsites can has many gateways as you have available. Of course it needs a client that can swap gateway. For the feed part, xml feeds are static too, until you update them. Kinda like the static webapps hosted on nsite. What problema did you encounter?

Reminds me i've been thinking about nsites and how they could could host the xml... if an nsite's gateway domain goes down, clients could query the gateway they know for the source npub. The hard part in this is moving existing subscribers over from the exisiting xml URL, as always.
Yes! It looks fantastic, search is lightning fast (albeit not very precise or complete), best implementation of podroll i've seen! What makes me a little wary about pc2, is the trauma from having been rugged of a domain name. I ran my first podcast in mid 00s on a drupal hosted on http://reset.mxx.ch ... and mxx.ch was not mine. All the domains that i control today are at the mercy of me being able to pay their rent on time to the registrar. Of course, it's possible to build clients that would look for the media files on different blossoms, but the actual xml i really wish i could point to in a different way than a single static URL.
This is not a critique of the protocol, I love it, it's ecosystem and most of all its community. It serves its purpose more than well. I'm just a bit paranoid about the type of internet that is about to come and thus quite bullish about the paradigm that nostr is offering us.

Fountain leverages nostr for their social features. But the music distribution is leveraging podcast2.

Wavlake would have to publish kind 36787 itself before clients can render them. Their nip has a different kind IIRC, but i don't know much about it, other than the fact i've never seen any nostr events with music published from wavlake users. Wavlake leverages podcast2, which is a different but much more mature protocol for music distribution and v4v monetization.

Yojimble: i guess ditto fell off the table but Amethyst also supports tracks (36787) and playlists (34139). On apple i don't know, but i think you could use Nostria as a pwa. You also have sunami and gruuv, but those two only render music. It's all very nascent.

If you are referring to the link in the quoted note by @nprofile…pkgh , it's just your client rendering an oldschool url and it's metadata. But we have that voodoo on nostr too now. Kind 36787. Amethyst, ditto, nostria, sunami and others are doing that very well. Not sure why wavlake is sleeping on this tbh.
Feeling alone around people, is just a reminder that we have not yet meet ourselves enough to appreciative our own company.
It means we are still in survival mode... trying to "think" who we are, by all the external inputs, instead of going inwards to bring back to awareness, who we truly are.
This has been my work of the last year's. Bringing myself into the present moment.
Spending a lot of time thinking, made me, for many years, even around people, to "not be there". At some point I had to really talk to myself, or the voice you have in your head:
" Look, this is not happening now, so, it's just illusion and not real. I want to be here, and now, which is all that exists."
Every time I caught myself, "travelling away", I brought myself to now.
Another layer that has been worked upon, I know others will follow.
The path of awakening will make you confront everything you were told you were....that you believed, and where you self abandoned. It's not easy to see it, accept it and integrate.
But, it's not impossible...and peace follows.

La registrazione dell’iniziativa non implica che la Commissione abbia già valutato il contenuto della richiesta, ma piuttosto che ne abbia verificato che essa soddisfi i requisiti formali per essere giuridicamente ammissibile. Per farlo è necessario che il mondo agisca rapidamente sui super-inquinanti, potenti gas serra responsabili di quasi la metà del riscaldamento globale registrato finora.
Invisibile, inodore e responsabile di quasi un terzo dell’attuale riscaldamento globale, il metano è il componente principale del gas naturale ed «è il super-inquinante per eccellenza», ha affermato il segretario generale dell’ONU, aggiungendo che, a differenza dell’anidride carbonica, si degrada nel giro di uno o due decenni.
«Tagliare le emissioni di metano è il freno più rapido che possiamo azionare per fermare il riscaldamento del pianeta», ha affermato, riferendosi al «Call to Action on Methane» (Appello all’azione sul metano) lanciato di recente a livello globale.
L’Agenzia internazionale per l’energia ha rilevato che che circa il 70 per cento del metano proveniente dal settore petrolifero e del gas può essere eliminato con le tecnologie esistenti a un costo netto basso o nullo e, grazie ai satelliti, «possiamo monitorare l’inquinamento da metano nel luogo e nel momento in cui si verifica», ha aggiunto.

There’s a common understanding that we’re living inside a new digital world order – one that feels like enclosure, where people are “controlled” by platforms they can’t easily leave, where behaviour is shaped at scale, and where #AI intensifies this mess. That’s why #fashernista terms like #technofeudalism are being used to argue that we’ve moved beyond capitalism into something structurally different: a system based not primarily on profit, but on rent extraction through “cloud capital.” In this narrow framing:
* Feudalism = land-based power, bonded labour, hierarchical obligation
* Capitalism = wage labour, markets, profit from production
* Technofeudalism = platform power, behavioural capture, rent from digital dependency
The “cloud lords” (Google, Amazon, Meta, Apple etc.) operate their own digital fiefdoms. We are the new “cloud serfs” producing data and metadata for free, generating value through participation while feeding systems that learn from us and reshape our behaviour. Even businesses and workers are pulled in, sellers depend on Amazon marketplaces, workers are managed through platform systems and, as the #EU is finding, entire infrastructures depend on AWS-style cloud provision.
From this narrowing view, capitalism starts to look secondary to rent extraction from controlled digital spaces. But is this actually a new economic system?

Situata a poco più di 60 chilometri da Rio de Janeiro, Maricá ha vissuto una profonda trasformazione in poco più di vent'anni. Nel 2002 si classificava al 354° posto tra le città più ricche del paese.

Ieri, primo luglio il Tar di Bologna ha accolto, sebbene parzialmente, il ricorso presentato dalla giornalista di inchiesta Linda Maggiori e dall’avvocato Andrea Maestri del Foro di Ravenna, contro il diniego opposto dalle Dogane di Ravenna all’accesso generalizzato agli atti.
La giornalista all'inizio del 2026 aveva chiesto “la quantità di materiale bellico e componenti di armamenti partiti dal porto di Ravenna nel 2025, divisi per quadrimestre (genn-april, maggio-agosto, sett.-dicembre) e divisi per export transito, e se possibile destinazione e provenienza’.
Le Dogane avevano opposto diniego sottolineando che questi dati avrebbero causato un “pregiudizio per l'ordine pubblico e la politica estera” nonché “un danno concreto all'operatività commerciale dei soggetti potenzialmente controinteressati”. Aggiungendo, peraltro, che “l'interesse pubblico non sempre coincide con l’interesse del pubblico” (sottinteso delle testate giornalistiche). Come se un genocidio e il connesso traffico di armi non fosse di sufficiente interesse pubblico, ma solo un interesse mediatico.
Nella sentenza del Tar, che accoglie il ricorso, si legge:
“il diniego di AdM non è supportato da adeguata e idonea motivazione, in quanto il mero dato numerico e quantitativo di materiale bellico e armamenti partiti dal porto di Ravenna nell’anno 2025 appare neutro e, quindi, irrilevante rispetto agli interessi pubblici richiamati dall’Amministrazione, non costituendo tali dati un “pregiudizio concreto” alla tutela dei suddetti interessi. Nemmeno è chiarito dall’Amministrazione in quali termini le informazioni richieste avrebbero “natura sensibile”, tale da compromettere gli interessi pubblici tutelati dalla disposizione normativa richiamata. Parimenti, proprio in considerazione della neutralità delle informazioni richieste, non risulta pertinente il riferimento al regime di pubblicità connesso all’istituto dell’accesso civico generalizzato. Sotto distinto profilo, non pare condivisibile nemmeno (...) che la divulgazione delle informazioni richieste comporterebbe la rivelazione di dati economici strategici suscettibili di utilizzo da parte di potenziali concorrenti, arrecando un danno concreto all’operatività commerciale dei soggetti potenzialmente controinteressati, atteso che, come detto, si tratta unicamente di generici dati numerici e quantitativi, senza alcun riferimento, ovviamente, ai nominativi dei soggetti interessati al transito (destinatari, spedizionieri, ecc.), per cui il rischio paventato dall’Amministrazione (...) non appare concretamente (ma nemmeno potenzialmente) configurabile. Quanto all’art. 7 del “Regolamento recante la disciplina relativa all’esercizio dell’accesso documentale e dell’accesso civico previsto dal D. Lgs. n. 33/2013, adottato con Determina del Direttore dell’Agenzia dogane e Monopoli prot. 277401 del 15/05/2025”, AdM non spiega in che termini le informazioni e i dati richiesti sarebbero informazioni di natura riservata o fornite in via riservata dalle autorità doganali durante l’effettuazione dei loro compiti (….). Stante la già evidenziata genericità e neutralità dei dati richiesti, sarebbe stato necessario specificare le ragioni della asserita natura “riservata” delle chieste informazioni, restando, diversamente, meramente affermata una riservatezza di cui non è indicata la fonte. Per le esposte ragioni, dunque, il diniego di accesso generalizzato alla richiesta relativa alla “quantità di materiale bellico” è illegittimo e va annullato, con conseguente ordine all’Amministrazione di concedere l’accesso ai dati e alle informazioni richieste”.
La sentenza del Tar però considera legittimo il diniego di svelare “paese di provenienza e/o destinazione” del materiale bellico e degli armamenti transitati per il porto di Ravenna in quanto “può determinare, indubbiamente, una interferenza con la tutela degli interessi pubblici connessi alla sicurezza nazionale e alle relazioni internazionali, come sopra declinati”.
Secondo l’avvocato Andrea Maestri si tratta di “una vittoria, parziale ma straordinaria per l’impatto che ha nella lotta per la trasparenza e nella causa per i diritti umani violati in Palestina anche grazie al transito di armi dal nostro porto. Viene fortemente stigmatizzata la genericità e pretestuosità delle motivazioni utilizzate dalle Dogane per bloccare l’accesso ad informazioni che invece sono un diritto di ogni singolo cittadino e dell’opinione pubblica posto che la stessa legge definisce il diritto di accesso come un corollario del principio democratico”.
Linda Maggiori sottolinea: “Ora vogliamo tutti i dati, divisi per quadrimestre, compresi quelli del 2026. Questa sentenza è importante non solo per Ravenna, ma anche a livello nazionale perché ci permetterà di avere i dati (troppo spesso nascosti) relative alle armi che passano su tutti i porti. Siamo molto soddisfatti per questa vittoria, rammarica però il velo di opacità rimasto sulle destinazioni delle armi. Però conosciamo i dati statistici e sappiamo che a maggio 2026 sono partiti 1800 container verso i porti di Haifa e Ashdod, 2400 ad aprile e così via gli altri mesi, con una media di 1500-2000 container ogni mese. Israele resta sempre in cima a tutte le destinazioni delle navi che partono dal porto di Ravenna”.
Il Coordinamento contro le armi di Ravenna sottolinea: “Un risultato straordinario e importantissimo per tutti noi, per la democrazia e per chi si oppone al traffico di armi dal nostro porto e non solo. Il margine di manovra per celare la verità è sempre più ristretto. Continueremo a vigilare, a chiedere trasparenza e invitiamo il sindaco a fare altrettanto e le istituzioni a collaborare, dando piena attuazione all’Osservatorio sul porto di Ravenna, che finora è stato portato avanti solo da noi cittadini e totalmente ignorato dalle istituzioni”.

In modo quanto mai opportuno, contribuì a confutare la nozione neoliberista allora prevalente secondo cui gli Stati uniti non erano competitivi nell’economia globale perché i lavoratori a ore non si impegnavano tanto quanto le centinaia di milioni di loro colleghi all’estero.
Nel suo ultimo libro, Four Days a Week: The Life Changing Solution for Reducing Employee Stress, Improving Well-Being, and Working Smarter (HarperCollins, 2025), Schor sembra sorpresa e delusa dal fatto che, «nonostante l’opinione diffusa che gli statunitensi lavorassero troppo, la questione sia caduta nel dimenticatoio» dagli anni Novanta in poi, a causa dell’«ascesa dell’economia neoliberista». Bernie Sanders sta sostenendo a Washington che, poiché i moderni sistemi di intelligenza artificiale sono stati realizzati utilizzando output intellettuali e creativi di tutta l’umanità, i ricavi che generano dovrebbero andare direttamente alla popolazione, e non solo a una ristretta cerchia di magnati della tecnologia.
Giovedì, il senatore Sanders – indipendente del Vermont – ha presentato un disegno di legge che, se approvato, creerebbe un fondo sovrano per il settore dell’IA degli Stati Uniti.
Il fondo avrebbe un valore di circa 7 trilioni di dollari, cifra derivata dall’attuale valutazione dei principali laboratori di IA del Paese, e garantirebbe alla popolazione americana una quota pubblica del 50% in tali aziende.
Di conseguenza, i contribuenti riceverebbero un pagamento annuale di 1.000 dollari attraverso il fondo. Tale importo «probabilmente aumenterà con il progredire dell’IA», ha dichiarato il senatore Sanders ai giornalisti durante una conferenza stampa tenutasi giovedì.
Il fondo potrebbe inoltre, in futuro, convogliare «ingenti somme di denaro […] verso programmi sociali, garantendo a tutti gli americani assistenza sanitaria, istruzione, alloggi dignitosi e altri beni di prima necessità».
Presentato come emendamento al Codice Tributario del 1986, il disegno di legge di Sanders sostiene che l’IA sia, in definitiva, una risorsa pubblica, al pari dei minerali preziosi o del petrolio estratti da terreni di proprietà pubblica, ma che un numero esiguo di aziende stia traendo profitto da questa risorsa come se fosse un prodotto proprietario, di proprietà privata.
L’IA «trae il proprio valore economico dall’intelligenza collettiva dell’umanità, inclusi libri, canzoni, opere d'arte, giornalismo, codice informatico, ricerca scientifica, video, conversazioni, immagini e idee che abbracciano generazioni», si legge nel disegno di legge. «Un piccolo numero di oligarchi si è di fatto appropriato del lavoro creativo di centinaia di milioni di persone… senza autorizzazione, riconoscimento o compenso, al fine di controllare la maggior parte del valore economico creato dall’intelligenza artificiale».
Attualmente, oltre 100 fondi sovrani operano in 67 paesi, inclusi gli Stati Uniti. Un esempio è il Texas Permanent School Fund, istituito nel 1854, che contribuisce a finanziare il sistema scolastico pubblico dello Stato con i proventi derivanti dall’estrazione di risorse naturali quali petrolio e gas.

I worked in such powerplant for a couple of years. One of those that burns sorted trash to male electricity, hot water, while selling recovered aluminum, iron and a fair share of heavy metals. It's funny because we can send the hot water (and cold: we just need an extra pipe) really really far. With the right infra, it could go from Högdalen in Stockholm to Badalona in the vincinity of Barcelona. But not as far as the trip the trash was making to the plant. Some of it came all the way from China.

Sick to think that the same pipes we use to ship hot water can ship very cold water, and that the same powerplants that produce hot water can produce very cold water. But the AC business is just too much money for the infra needed to make economic sense.
