Crazy idea for #csharp syntax. Support the use of `return` and `continue` logical operation statements to short circuit in a method body.
"continue if sender is Button button” or “return if sender is not Button button”.
This would reduce nesting in if blocks when using pattern matching. #dotnet

I made a ServiceWorker intercept #HTMX calls and manage state inside of the ServiceWorker process all in-browser.
The downside is it takes a few seconds for the service worker lifecycle to start, so it's likely only available on page refreshes. Still a neat concept.

I got #diesel running in #RustRover with #rustlang. The experience is what you'd expect from an ORM—pretty smooth and nice. I like this. I'll have to use this with a web app next.
It also works great with the built-in database tools in RustRover.

The docs say SQLx is NOT an ORM. It's a query API.

@npub1xed…yg9w Speaking from recent experience, sometimes folks internally need to clarify the criticism and understand the correct path to fix the issue.
I’m unsure if it’s the case in your current example, but having devrel folks go out without being well-informed and understanding the situation can worsen things.
Also, developers have gotten a lot more frothy at the mouth these days, and trying to talk with folks who are beet-red in the face is also non-constructive. 😅

My dive into #Rust and its web ecosystem continues. This time, I'm using #Axum to serve HTML from an endpoint and sending static files from a directory.
The IDE I'm using is #JetBrains #RustRover.
Note: Cool features from RustRover include automatic dependency refresh, HTML Language injection, and a built-in browser in the IDE (via plug-in), not to mention really good language support.

The biggest issue with web component approaches, even the good ones like WebC, is that they still require a build step. This limits them to folks who are comfortable with JS build chains.
I want to spread the love to Django, ASP.NET, Laravel, Rails, and all future web frameworks.
