We're in a peacetime. There's no enemy. Without an enemy we have nothing to fight for.
Bluesky has an enemy. It's Elon Musk. Elon is a good enemy IMO, basically a super villian. But he's not our enemy in the same way.
This leaves us, a bunch of libertarian tech bros, with the challenge of creating something new. This is not the time to give up, but to refocus our efforts. Nostr Protocol is not what's holding us back, it's how we're using it.

React Native has created a problem where, by bridging the gap between 3 major platforms, it has created a new gap between React Native and vanilla React. Component libraries must support either React Native or React, or jump through a bunch of hoops to support both. So now that React Native has "unified" the platforms, we need another layer to unify React itself so code can work for both React and React Native.

This is an old screenshot. Purple line is Amethyst "draft" events, which is unusually high compared to every other event kind. I was having performance issues. But it wasn't because of this. It was a red herring. So in the end, my biggest issue with it is that it pollutes my logs and makes it look like something bad is happening. I blocked them anyway.

You can get it from browser storage. Open the console (Shift+Ctrl+i) and go to Application > Local storage, then find the key called soapbox:nostr:keys and your nsec will be in there.
If you're only logged in on mobile, it's still possible, but you'll have to connect your phone to a computer to enable developer tools.

#Ditto's domain: search now indexes NIP-05 hostnames separately from domains, so domain:mostr.pub will show all subdomains of the Mostr bridge, while domain:mastodon-social.mostr.pub will only show mastodon.social posts.
You can even combine multiple domains in searches with other tokens, eg:
