This statement has so much weight. Some people look at #nostr and say, well it doesn' thave the reach of #Ex-Twitter so its not worth the swtich. But this is so much better than anything else. There have bene several other attempts at de-centralized/blcokchain based social networks before, like Status & Scuttlebutt, and they never got nearly as far, functional, and not to mention extendable, as NOSTR already is.

I don't think its the ONLY truly meaningful thing. Serving God in how He has called you is meaningful. For those of use that have been called to be parents its certainly one of the ways we serve God, but caring for the poor, helping the undesirable, worshiping the Lord, ministering to your neighbors are all truly meaningful things. Not everyone is physically cable of having kids, not mention that not everyone is called to a married life, but their lives can be just as meaningful.

The hardest part of the #HeartHealthy regiment my cardiologist has put me on hasn't been the change to a primary #Mediterranean #Diet, the reeducation in sodium to less than 2000mg a day, nor the reduction in calories to less than 1700 a day but limiting liquid intake to no more than 64 FL Oz a day.Apparently my heart meds cause me to retain water. I know people have often complained about how hard it is to drink 8 glasses of water a day, but I've never found that hard, when I realized that she was also including coffee, beer, etc. in my 64 FL Oz, it felt impossible. I've reduced my self down to only one cup of coffee a day (from a max of like 2 and a half pots 20 years ago), changing my water from the giant stadium cup we got from the baseball games to using the small plastic cups my kids have got from restaurants and trying to take my meds with my meal water rather than its own, but I'm still parched and I still find myself putting my head under the sink to get a drink every-time I enter the bathroom. This often includes wandering around the house during my work hours while I'm thinking how to address a given engineering solution.

He was arrested on a stop over in France for his company "violating" France's laws that are OUTSIDE of France's jurisdiction. His company doesn't operate in #France yet France is trying to hold him as the founder/CEO of Telegram responsible for the actions of a few Telegram users.
If Pavel Durev is held responsible for others actions for the mere production of a tool then the internet ceases to function. The argument against Pavel #Durev could just as easily be made against the creators of any operating system, web browser, or other application with internet connectivity since any tool capable of communicating messages on a users behalf is "allowing" crime by way of "not doing enough".The reason we have section 230 in the United States is to protect platforms from being held liable for the actions of their users since it's not possible to ensure users privacy, security, and the functioning of the internet without this liability protection measure.If one can be held liable for others actions for which the platform has no reasonable or effective ability control without significant collateral damage then no one would produce such a tool and the internet would cease to exist. Neither ISPs, operating system vendors, computer dealers, electronics manufacturers, application developers, etc would survive.
