You can follow his RRS feed. Then you just get his story straight in your feed (depending on your UI of course). But I think it would be nice to have a UI that does something clever with threads like these.

Did that come out a year before the movie!? I've read it. I can't find it on my bookshelf anymore, so no idea what happened to it (maybe I borrowed it from someone? Or loaned it to someone?), but I definitely remember Biggs and the Han+Jabba scene, and was thrilled by the extra scenes. I was also initially thrilled to see the Jabba scene in the special editions, until I realized it didn't really work and kinda ruined Jabba.

Het is belangrijk om je te realiseren dat Bluesky eigenlijk niet fundamenteel anders is dan Twitter was, en dus ook net zo kan worden. Het kan gekocht worden door een gekke miljardair, maar het kan ook zonder dat enshittified worden omdat aandeelhouders meer geld willen zien.

@npub15lv…ctwx In that screenshot he's not saying not to try to fix the US, he's saying not to come to him if you want to fix the US, but go to Strong Towns instead. And he's saying it's more effective to try to fix someplace else.
He's obviously given up on North America, and he has good reasons for that, but if you want to fix the US, I say go for it. It will probably be a long and frustrating fight, but if it's one you want to fight, it's a good fight.

I'm following @npub1yxz…5qvv 's feed in Friendica, which supports RSS mixed in with my regular social media feed. I should probably follow a lot more RSS here, though. (Actually, I also follow HN through RSS now, but those were never the enshittified parts of the web.)

They do that with a lot of songs. I have checked the originals of a few I'd never heard of, and I regretted it. Some of my favourite PMJ songs are covers of pretty questionable originals.
