If I can’t yeet them out, those devices get their own SSID on an isolated VLAN, as frankly I don’t trust them at all, and I’ll just deal with any VLAN issues. Better yet, if your AP can do per client PSK, you get even better isolation between cheap plastic tat

Correct, that’s actually a pretty terrible phonetic alphabet for that reason. The actual NATO one uses Delta, Whiskey, Yankee for the same examples for exactly that reason, they neither sound like another letter and even a guess at the spelling will almost certainly start with the correct value

Drivers in general just need to chill with pretty much everything, getting angry if anything just makes journeys take longer, although unfortunately things are going the other way. The biggest grumble I have with nostr so far is the lack of content warnings and meta descriptions. I know there’s a NIP for CWs that hasn’t been widely adopted yet, but I haven’t even seen a mention of metas, might have to investigate further

Washing up liquid is what I go for, it’s gentle enough to not damage the latex but it’s specifically designed to remove grease so gets through the sweat infused silicone no problem.
Contrary to what others may tell you, bunging it in the washing machine with a small amount of detergent is usually the best way to go (just don’t use too much else you’ll have bubbles everywhere)

I did consider setting up my own AcitivtyPub service under smut.cloud, but I A) don’t have the time, and B) can’t be arsed with the #OnlineSafetyAct side of things. Going for nostr, whilst different, will prevent any of that nonsense from bothering me
