UBI Really is the way to go.
We have long since proven "trickle down" doesn't work. Subsidizing corps does not uplift the poor, it just makes the rich richer, while ever time UBI is tried it increases productivity and quality of life. Jobs are unfilled because it's not worth it to work yourself to death and still not be able to keep a roof over your head and your kids fed.

Kinda fun thing about the base 60 system-
It’s really easy to count to 60 on your hands.
If you use your thumb to count the pads of your fingers, you get to 12 on one hand.
Then use the five fingers of your other hand as the placeholders to get to 60.

In general you would be wiping the original OS and replacing it with StartOS.
If you want them side by side one option might be installing StartOS to an external drive so you leave your original hard drive totally intact. I've done that to run linux on a mac mini in the past.

If I remember right Vine died(got shutdown by twitter, so maybe @nprofile…gaw8 could provide clarity ) after the popular people left because they didn't monitize and youtube and insta did.
Tiktok succeeds because it is like a skinner box for creators. Or maybe a gatcha game would be more appropriate since it's Chinese. Creators just keep pumping out content and praying to the algo that they strike it big.

Had to switch GPs because he repeatedly told me to start statins. I've always had 'high' cholesterol. Like since the first time I had blood work done when I was 7. No matter my diet, even my brief time as a vegetarian (very brief. i love vegatables, a lot, but I still want a big slab of rare beef right next to them).

My slightly sketchy attempt to use a s9 tuned down to 450w with my mini solar setup to get some of that sweet sweet magic internet money for free did not go as well as I'd hoped. For some reason the s9 only had 2 of the boards running and would randomly shutdown. The battery is supposed to be able to do 600w, but the readout never showed it going over 300w. But! When it wasn't shutting down I was getting 1-2 TH/s and the battery said it could run for 45 minutes at that load and it takes 3-4 hours to charge depending on how much sun I'm getting.
Not a total loss though! Braiins said I earned 12 sats!
@npub1sg6…f63m will any of the upcoming Block miners be low power for home mining? If my heatbit ever shows up it is suppose to be able to do 10TH/s at 300w.

Facebook has helped me decide to never log back in.
They say I changed my password on Monday, which I didn't.
I find it very hard to believe I've been hacked because I use a unique email just for fb, a very strong password, and 2FA.
And their txt message code to reset it never seems to come.
What's the only way to get back in?
Send them the front and back of my ID.
I literally only use it for talking to my mom and one friend in messenger.
