For politics, 'Anatomy of the State' by Rothbard is a very short and sweet one.
'For a New Liberty' by Rothbard incorporates ideas that come in AofS, with a more elaborate introduction to Libertarianism.
'Ethics of Liberty' by him would be for a deeper examination of the libertarian ethic. I'm currently reading this.

Man says that in social sciences, truth is derived through 'praxeological' reasoning, not empirical observation. i.e. you *deduce* and *reason out* truths rather than *calculate* or *observe* them.
Unlike natural sciences like physics, which rely on controlled experiments and isolated observation, social sciences like economics is about studying the laws of human action independent of data or sources.
Controlled experiments in human societies is not possible, as there are people who interact with each other and make hundreds of decisions based on hundreds of values and desires that are all unknowable.
Society is uncontrollable and unplannable. So one can't understand it using statistics, equations and math models.

Then I highly recommend you to shift to reading books by Mises, Rothbard and similar folks. Their works helped me understand Bitcoin in ways I didn't expect.
It's one of the most low time preference activities you can do.
Requires a lot of patience but it will be incredibly worth it in the coming months in ways you don't notice.

Laissez-faire is the only system that can bring true wealth to India.
Not the pseudo-wealth driven by heavy government intervention with artificially low interest rates, spray and pray VC funding, degenerate govt debt, high taxes, malinvestment and depreciating fiat money that you see in America, Europe, China and even in India now. That's a bubble where a few people get rich at the expense of others, and remain rich when the bubble bursts and everyone gets wrecked because they get bailed out.
I'm talking about creating hardcore generational wealth driven by free markets with market-driven interest rates, capital creation and accumulation where demand actually exists, savings in sound money, respect for private property and natural rights. It's a system where the deserved win and do so only by creating and producing useful things that others actually want, and fail when they don't do that.
If a group of people want to get together and make this happen, they can already do so to a certain extent without requiring any political or regulatory action.

There are about half a dozen languages with well over 50 million speakers each who don't speak Hindi, which is like almost half the country. We could see a lot of Bitcoin content in these languages coming out this cycle as more people come in.
Libertarian content otoh I'm not sure will happen organically or automatically. So it's a challenge.

3. Translations of educational content into Indian languages.
These are all 'pre-political' activities that aim only to give people a different perspective to help them deal with internal contradictions and lies built up by years of programming and propaganda.

I believe individuals living in the country have always had a shot and have managed to preserve their sovereignty with gold and now recently, Bitcoin.
The socialist and fiat leviathan has a very strong stranglehold on the subcontinent, its government, culture, politics and economy. It's pervasive, subtle and cannot be noticed even by the keenest observer sometimes.
Be that as it may, the march towards liberty has to start within the individual. One cannot force someone to be free or rich.
And it has to be bottom up.
It will likely take decades, but it has to happen.

Hypothetically, if one were to ask me what it is that needs to happen to make India a land of truly free people within the political and legal system that exists at the moment, I would share the following incomplete, work-in-progress list with them;
1. Indian constitution
•Repeal the first amendment before anything else
•Delete part 4
•Delete part 17
•Delete Article 39(b) and 39(c)
•Remove the words 'socialist' and 'secular' from the preamble
•Make right to property a fundamental right again
•Reinterpret right to life (article 21) and remove positive law elements like 'right to reputation' that lead to incorrigible laws like defamation
•Make changes to the 7th, 11th and 12th schedules to have as little as possible in the union and state lists and as much as possible in the local govt lists.
•Presidents to get directly elected and to be made the head of the executive and the PM being relegated to the right role of being the head of the legislature alone.
2. Agencies and ministries
•Abolish the RBI, ED, FIU, IT Dept
•Abolish the HR&CE departments
•Privatise and disinvest PSU's and state-owned land
•Where there is an insane amount of political pressure, explore public-private partnerships as initial steps before fully introducing market pressures
•Privatise securities exchanges
•Abolish APMC's and mandis
•Number of ministries cannot be more than 10 on all federal levels
•Affirmative action and reservations will have to be removed completely
3. Polices and Acts
•Repeal FEMA and legal tender laws
•Repeal the Essential commodities act
•Allow anyone in the country to establish an exchange platform for equities, derivatives and bonds
•Establish laws that enable free banking and ensure that collateralised deposits are possible
•Liberalise agriculture and abolish the mandis and price control
•Remove land ceiling
•Repeal the land acquisition act
•Stop putting out finance acts and making the annual budget a form of pseudo-planning of the socialist kind
•Abolish 90% of taxes: goods and services, property, excise, service, capital gains, customs, cess, surcharge, value added, gift, entertainment, professional and land revenue
•Relax gun licensing rules
•Of course, any special privileges granted to any religious or communal group will have to go because everyone has to be treated equally by the rule of law.

It seems like the link between central banks and socialism is not at all something that's appreciated by many.
It is not a capitalist system when the cost of capital itself is centrally planned through benchmark interest rates.
It creates a scarcity in capital and makes capital accumulation concentrated in the hands of a few, the same way price controls create scarcity in the supply of commodities and concentrate production in the hands of a few.

I suppose that's been your experience while talking to people where you're from. I can understand that.
But there are issues which are more pressing when one lives in a socialist society like mine that isn't very economically advanced.
Besides, its entirely up to the person advocating for it to make a good case for other things being equally important. That's why I read so much. It's my responsibility to articulate myself the best I can. How the other person receives what I say is something I can't control or want to control.

None. Zero.
Privatise and deregulate everything.
The boards, the schools, the licences, the grants. All of them must be gone.

I am open to being corrected or refuted about this view:
I approach Libertarianism the same way I approach Bitcoin and Hinduism.
In their proper sense,
•They can only be adopted voluntarily.
•People are free to not believe in them, as exit is optional.
•There's no leader that is enforcing rules.
•They can be interpreted in various ways.
•But the systems don't deny the existence of 'truth'.
•Truth is arrived at through debate, discussion and argumentation in various ways through different journeys.
But because of their open and leaderless nature, people who don't understand them can interpret them 'improperly' or 'incorrectly' and still call themselves a proponent of the system.
And that's okay.
It won't hurt the system itself in any way.
