As I understand it, the more major clients are funded by people like Jack and such, right? I've just been wondering how nostrs retention rate would've performed if it was solely crowdfunded. Like the launching of a bunch of different clients at once, observing which ones are used the most for maybe the first month or so, then have a crowdfunding round for those clients and other future projects that get a significant amount attention through feeds. Maybe some form of advertisement on clients that aren't strictly social media-based.

Most devs seem to have very different and very articulate visions for their clients and Nostr as a whole. They butt heads too often from what I've seen and many aren't very open or, in the worst of cases, completely closed off to user feedback.

Well, I was in the same situation for a long time. At first, I thought my career was with the army, then I thought it was with corporations, then after a while I realized that it was just trying to be the best father I can be. It takes a long time to realize what your life's goal is and it's always going to be hard to reach even the smallest level of personal progression and happiness when you're constantly strapped down by corporate incentives that prohibit anything related. Tough it out🫡🫂. Don't let them formulate your goals, create your career path, or choose where you head next. Collect whatever skills you need from them and move on. Find your passions. They change over time, as well.

Well, that definitely isn't the case. There are plenty of good soldiers and plenty of bad ones. War hasn't changed in even the slightest in that regard. Lol, yes, such impulsive moments do occur from time-to-time. The frequency is different with all couples. Though, that is not how my wife and I primarily used to express love to each other. To the state, all forms of warfare are about nothing but money and other resources. Always has been. But evolution has brought us to the stage where conventional warfares purpose has become less about making money and more about serving as a distraction from the unconventional forms of warfare that are being instilled (in terrifyingly effective fashion) into society. Fiat worker, veteran, we all unknowingly contribute to never-ending wars whether we want to admit it or not.
Imo, most can't bring themselves to the point of self-blame, so they simply shift that blame to another party; the state, an enemy nation, or just another person etc.
