I start to notice all the things happening around me at that exact moment, and thanks to that, I manage to take photos that many would consider very ordinary. But since I see them with fresh eyes, I end up creating photos that people like.

I'm currently exploring street photography with my 50mm lens and I love it because, being a fixed lens, it reduces the friction of thinking about whether or not to zoom. Over time, you quickly get used to the kind of photos you can take with a 50mm and you instinctively know whether to get closer or farther away from what you want to photograph. So I simply leave the camera configured and when I see a nice scene, I take a photo.
