Pretty sure these are broad mites just from the microscopic size of them and how the plant leaf looks. One hit with the blue light epiflourescent module on the microscope and they are toast.
The podcast I posted about before was talking about using #UVC in grow rooms and greenhouses (#UV wont travel through glass) to get better terpene production, pest reduction etc. This being on the blue side is likely doing the same sort of thing.

I would say it has a major effect the red-light affects the flow of blood and uv seems to affect waters' charge in some way ....just cant really state it as absolute fact 😉

Trying and failing here the last few days here the sky is very clear. Seems even my crude knocked together contraption works. Saw loads of planes yesterday probably one every 10mins for a while and while it might be spring I hardly live next to an airport.

Been wondering about the same sort of thing. I have an attachment on my multi tool called a power edger I can rip lines in soil and I am been innoculating the lawns manually with a watering can and or char after. But of course it would be ideal to do it all in one go. There is some stuff called hyperdrive (Blue sky biochar sells it) which is made from castor oil which apparently is able to liquify and break up the the biochar!
I will have to import so I haven't got a chance to try it out yet. Been trying to reverse engineer the effect with caster oil but no luck yet!

Propolis is great when you have a sore throat. It doesn't wash away easily as the resin is all sticky so it ends up right near it needs to be killing the problem bacteria.

Good question the ones I have were cut but I would assume it would leach out anyway. I guess you could use the ones already used for broth though I guess you would have slightly less nutrient in it if you wanted to use it for wcap later. Butchers will give them for free and cut anyway so if you are going there just ask them to give you some.

Yeah and it ends being quite thick and fatty from the marrow so it helps trap the volatiles that way too...so you don't want to make it with old bones.

Made a note here about drinking some of the biofertilisers I had been making last week but it didn't publish to a relay probably because of the poor signal.
Turns out it I didn't die from drinking it and actually not only do feel better overall but it seem to have fixed some lingering health issues 😁 👍

Photosynthetic cyanobacteria are meant to the first thing to oxidise the world you would probably want to send that with the bacteria that was around before that before sending the fungi 🙂. I guess being fairly simple they might be on the tyres.

Sometimes the build quality could be better but they are far cheaper than some of premium units and they do work if you look after them. I have recently started buying pure 850nm infrared led strip light to make some of my own units for use on microbes. It makes them jiggly 😁

Some of it likely comes because your ancestors were likely chillin in a cave this time of year reflecting on how a year of seasonal graft is affecting them in the present. The cold and lower radiation from the sun internalises the blood flow to your major organs too likely encouraging this sort of behaviour. I am sure you still have that hanging around in you despite you living in upside down land.

The price of manuka isn't usually worth the extra cost of buying it. I bought some a few weeks back because it was on discount in Savers.
Just avoid the cheap mass market honey most of it isn't really even really honey. If I was forced to go to the supermarket Chilean honey is likely genuine -basically european honey bees were introduced there and they dont know what to do with it all except export it and manuka should be good too.

It's true, I used to work at biodynamic vineyard. Wild yeasts, no to low sulphur only fermented juice never managed to get a hangover with that stuff. I make cider in much the same way and the same applies.

Land is second. With caveats it's usually pretty versatile for food, fuel and overall security. There is probably a point where you have enough of it that I becomes more a liability than a resource but that's up to you and your imagination to find out.

Shungite is mostly carbon and biochar which is basically charcoal so it makes sense. You could always build a timber building too and make it with hempcrete and incorporate something carbonaceous in that too. They are rather nice buildings when you get them right. You can then render it with more carbonaceous plaster and paint after that!...Might have to look into carbon paint now, apparently carbon black was made from Shungite!

Thankfully if you add water the nanobots disappear leaving only their tiny beach volleyballs they import via the tiny portals. Their whole economy is built on the import and export of beach volleyballs. All of this of course makes far more sense than a fiat debt backed economy.

Yeah, it works amazing for wasp stings I was once stung on the hand in winter by a hibernating queen moving some woodchip mulch bags, I went back to the car immediately put some comfrey oil on it and by the time I went to pay and walk back to the vehicle the sting was gone. With previous wasp stings, without anything put on it it could take around 2 weeks for things to calm down, so well worth it if you ask me.

One of the farmers I know wrote a book called "The secret life of cows". It got quite famous due to Alan Bennet writing about it so the publisher sent her to Jersey to do a book signing.... she told me it was quite an adventure leaving the farm for even a few days as she hadn't even been on a plane before 😁

Yeah I have been stacking the firebricks I was going to use as in a rocker stove riser around the woodstove and flue pipe. It works pretty well but I would like to reduce the amount of wood I need in the future primarily due to lack of wood storage space, so perhaps I will go to something like this in the future.

This guy keeps chipping away at this project and it looks better all the time.
I love all the work Paul Wheaton does with rocket stoves and heaters but sometimes the foot print for those things are enormous and awkward to retrofit into smaller spaces. So I ended up just putting a conventional wood stove in the shed. Perhaps something similar to this with a small mass this could work well in such a space as well as in an outdoor kitchen.

Yeah I have one but anyway luckily where I live in the U.K we don't do a lot of it. Its pretty much just Birmingham and a couple of other cities where its added. Though even and now and then there are suggestions to expand it, so I like to keep up to date on things.

Thanks for the honest discussion but I disagree.
For me that's like saying we should carry on plastering the wall while the underlying wooden structure is rotten, makes no sense at all to me, but you and others are welcome to persist in the folly.
It does both the things I mentioned. In some ways its quite similar to Chorine at a small level it does not interfere greatly with the macro process but will inhibit it. Things will eventually ferment still and horses wont get fluorosis at the right levels but what happens when they accidently add too much (those things do happen) and what are the cumulative effects over a lifetime?
Unlike Chlorine (typically linked to bladder cancer) which is easily filtered out by low cost Carbon, Fluoride doesn't and Calcium Fluoride is not the same molecule as the Sodium Fluoride they add to the supply. As you keep reminding us its only been 75 years in the US.. .that's not even a full human lifetime to evaluate it. You also have to take into account with the yeast and microbes these things also live in us. So while some of these yeast may only be inhibited in large vat for producing alcohol, what's that doing inside us where levels would never be as high? I would prefer the precautionary principle in this case.
Out of curiosity would you also defend adding Lithium to the water supply? Because believe it or not people have suggested that to stop people killing themselves! Surely that more important than teeth right?!

Its a pain in the arse to remove if you don't want it (RO or expensive filters that don't completely get it all out) and it's in mouthwash toothpaste already if you do want it. It also has effects for people using municipal water for other things where they also don't want it for example perhaps for animals and brewing.
Also if you read Weston A Price "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration: A Comparison of Primitive and Modern Diets and Their Effects" it becomes pretty clear modern dietary habits are the cause of modern dental woes. Mass fluoridation might help the teeth in some cases but doesn't fix the key problem and causes issues elsewhere so the idea of applying it to everyone's water is just bonkers..

Yeah luckily I had a third tool available! I tend to use the bronze spade for everything because its lighter, long handled and sharp edged so its more ergonomic. It breaks from time to time buts its pretty easy to fix too.

😁 Moving a single smallish box plant. I thought I would grab the fork because the spade handle was a little old and didn't want to risk breaking it. Crack went the fork barely shifting it so thought well this slightly broken spade handle has lasted over 18 months without it breaking, working round it there are only a few roots now I have liberated most of it, I am sure it can do this ......!!! 😂
