Now that the USA has a precedent of banning social networks, don't you think this will happen en masse?
With so many members of congress owning American big tech stock, don't you think them looking after their own financial interests will lead to banning more social networks, platforms, and websites?
The USA is shutting itself off and creating a firewall much greater and more competent than China ever could — as much as you may have personal quarrels against TikTok, this ban is a horrible idea.
