I’m just going to throw this out there, I wouldn’t be surprised if they slap the Telegram CEO partially for CSAM related issues on Telegram.
France has a new law that went into effect in 2024, Child’s Image Rights Law and France is part of the EU. The EU has a plethora of online child safety pieces of legislation.
There have been articles written recently about CSE on Telegram. That’s always a precursor.
Orgs have made them a focus in 2024.
