Gm & Pv #nostr 🌞☕️
I’ve been working in nonprofits since 2015, initially working with folks with disabilities on job training and skills training, then leadership positions since 2018 focusing on low-income youth and young adults job training, workforce development, financial literacy, etc, and now leading grants for a $270 million nonprofit
Since getting into bitcoin in 2021 I tried to bring my knowledge and passion for bitcoin into my non-profit world. That was not playing out the way I thought, with nonprofits or leadership not getting it, being nervous about the concept, or just disregarding it.
And after a couple of years of denying this inner-feeling, knowing what I need to do, but resisting based on money, timing, not enough time or energy, I now know what I need to do and can’t put off any longer.
Bringing my knowledge and expertise in nonprofits, particularly leading programs focusing on youth and young adult job training, internship, life skills, mentorship, and beyond, and bringing my passion and conviction in bitcoin as a lifeline for future generations, especially those caught in cycles of poverty and just unable to get out…
I’m going to start a nonprofit focusing on this, in Boston to start. This journey and laying the groundwork for this vision starts today 🧡
