The Russian presidential election is this Friday March 15th. The Ukrainans decided to create a strike force to invade Russia's Belgorad region and cause fear and panic as well as hurt Putin at the polls.
It consisted of "5 tanks, self-propelled guns, MLRS, more than 10 infantry fighting vehicles and pickup trucks with heavy machine guns."
Unfortunately despite their dilligent planning, the Ukrainians were spotted by air and wiped out with air strikes and drones. Approx 70 kia along with 5 tanks, 3 self propelled guns, 1 MLRS and several light vehicles.
