But of course, there’s the #Model / #ContentCreator / Online SWer / #Egirl side of things.
Reasons that I can relate to, but of course I am not the norm.
- The Nostr concept itself , is mind blowing and complicated for most. ( Since I joined I have repped #nostr #thenostr and #damus for about 8 months. Online on IG, Twitter, private messaging and in person. To be honest I loose most people after explaining what this protocol is and what it can do for another. )
- The fact that there is only a few of us here that stay and are consistent.
(This is a tricky one, yes we need more #egirls here, but it’s very hard to show others that there is a place for us when there is non of us)
- The struggle I / we have when I / we are constantly multitasking wherever we may be to : view, communicate, and post at any place and any time of day, when not connected to a wifi.
- Navigating , how to , and direction
- Wallets and Payouts / + #sats comparable to $ amount
- Pay wall / no paywall / in app feature
- No (as far as I know) #asknostr Personal Photo Vault in account. Every other day I’m hoping and wishing for this here. As a creator with many pages, apps and parts of the web I post on, it can be really hard to remember what I posted where. Having to scroll through months of our own notes is not time efficient. It is super beneficial to have a photo vault where we can view all our past posted content.
-App crashes and bugs (this is now literally my 3rd time writing this all, and loosing it to a crash twice. Literally having to type this in my note pads in phone and then to copy and paste for commenting here.) @jb55
-How much effort this really takes for an online swer/ model / content creator/ egirl. It’s another place to have to post to.
- No schedule posts (For me personally this isn’t a huge deal, as I’ve never been one to really schedule my own posts anywhere. I post what aligns with my mind, body and soul at the given moment, how I’m feeling and being my most authentic self. BUT for a lot of others, it can be a negative to not have scheduled posts. We have SO many pages, apps and places of the web we need to spend our time on, constantly networking- in order to sell or gain anything in return.
- A lot of us don’t JUST make content. We have lives (imagine that), full time jobs, pt jobs, ft plus pt jobs, while all trying to maintain our own lives, and sanity. Some can’t manage their time appropriately or consistently (which is fair - things can be overwhelming and stressful when we are trying to make ends meet.
- Drop everything and join the nostr !
I assume you are thinking is the easiest solution? Well straight up it’s not that easy. None - not many of us, can live and rely on the funds of one place. This just isn’t viesable nor realistic in this day and age. Inflation is so high.
There’s more probably, but my head hurts and I’m sure that’s enough for you #devs to try to work on, if you are one - that is accepting of us, and want more of us here.
