So far, I have rebuilt and upgraded the front suspension, shimmed the cush drive, replaced the chain tensioners and chain guard (guard is a nice aluminum piece instead of plastic), upgraded the radiator system to have a bypass (ThermoBob), replaced the levers and mirrors, replaced like every O-ring and bit of rubber on this little gizmo, changed to a +5° advance flywheel key, put in a better shift detent spring, gave it a lithium battery, got new knee grips and windscreen... that might be it. I still have to swap to the Evans waterless coolant, electrify the side reflectors to glow, set the front blinkers to DRL, make sure everything is aligned... there's a lot.
But I'll be riding it soon.

I still haven't finished this, because I keep waiting for parts to arrive.
I did give it a new battery, however. It's like holding a box of animal crackers. I saved multiple pounds with this thing.
Some guy online said it saves 3.6 kg, but that sounds like too much. I mean how much does a bike battery normally weigh, anyhow? ~Ten pounds sounds like an overestimation.
I feel pretty now that I have a cute blue battery. Nobody else can see it, but I know it's there. :pepeGosh:RT:
