human society is currently experiencing that moment of all who have successfully permanently stopped smoking (like me) realising the golden rule of stopping smoking:

this is a fact of psychology that psychopaths exploit, once they can get you to loosen a rigid rule to become a "once is ok" it's an inevitable downhill run until total corruption

and the people who are undergoing this descent will continue to call those who call for total abolition "extreme" and "salty" and "stubborn" and "conservative" in all the perjorative versions of similar appelations until it's sodom and gomorrah and no sane person wants to visit anymore because of what a hellhole their society has become
