My mother, Lori Duane, needs our support. Since May 2024, she's been bravely fighting stage 4 stomach and bone cancer. Despite the odds, she's exceeded her initial prognosis, thanks to a combination of treatments including immunotherapy, radiation, and alternative medications like ivermectin, which we're struggling to afford.
Current Health and Home Challenges:
Health: Lori is battling to maintain her weight, hydration, and mobility. She's currently on a treatment break to recover from severe side effects, aiming to gain strength.
Home Repairs: Her home requires urgent repairs to ensure her comfort and safety:
High Priority:
AC Repair: Needs coolant line replacement, duct board air return, and coolant recharge. We're seeking either affordable services or goodwill discounts.
Animal Damage: Soffit and attic repairs to prevent animal entry, including raccoon issues which are complicating insurance claims.
Chimney and Siding: Extensive repairs needed due to an old air handler setup and weather damage.
Medium Priority:
Gutters, privacy fence, AC line insulation, drywall repairs, and a bathroom remodel currently at a standstill due to lack of funds.

Personal Note: This post might surprise Lori as she finds it hard to ask for help, but I believe in the power of community. Her financial situation is tight with disability income not covering all expenses.
