For example, I just had an issue where I needed to transfer a very large file between two devices on different operation systems and shitty WiFi, and I was like "I'm sure there's a tool for that, maybe zap.store has it listed." And sure enough, LocalSend pops up and it just worked like a charm. FOSS, signed, verified, trusted. Like it should be.
