The average income of those working remained around the highest levels in the historical series starting in 2012. The data are from the Continuous National Sample Survey of Domiciles (Pnad Contínua) of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). The result of the mass of income meant an increase of R$ 19,468 billion in the period of one year, a 5.9% increase in the quarter ended in April 2025 compared to the quarter ended in April 2024. Compared to the quarter ended in January 2025, the real income mass grew 0.8% in the quarter ended in April, R$ 2,627 billion more. According to William Kratochwill, analyst of the IBGE research, the average income remains around historic highs, driven by the own heating of the labor market, which reduces the availability of qualified labor. \"The signed contract has grown, increasing the average income. The unemployment rate is low, the underutilization of the labor market is decreasing\", Kratochwill recalled. \"It means that the best are being hired. If you want to hire good people, you have to give better conditions or better salaries. As a consequence, the signed contract may have increased.\" The average income of employed workers had a real increase of 0.4% compared to the quarter ended in January, R$ 12 more, to R$ 3,426. Compared to the quarter ended in April 2024, the average real income of all employed workers rose 3.2%, R$ 107 more. The nominal income, or before being adjusted for inflation in the period, grew 2.5% in the quarter ended in April compared to the quarter ended in January. Already in comparison with the quarter ended in April 2024, there was an increase of 8.7% in the average nominal income.\nhttps://jornaldebrasilia.com.br/noticias/economia/massa-de-renda-de-r-3494-bi-no-tri-ate-abril-e-novo-recorde-da-serie-aponta-ibge/",
