Unpopular opinion to have right now, but it's important to say things that not a lot of people are saying so I'll say it.
Limits on OP_RETURN are useless If anyone can bypass it on a whim. If something is useless, you don't spend time and energy maintaining it, especially on voluntary systems like Bitcoin core.
Having said that, the actual issue of concern on Bitcoin core is the blatant censorship of contrarian opinions. They definitely should move to nostr.
