Here's the best ever feminist "horror" film. Based loosely on the true story of a coven on the English Coast, during the phoney war at the start of WW2, who allegedly met, to influence Hitler not to invade England.
This film imagines what that looked like, how much the government knew, and what they might have done about it.
It's got everything - Landgirls, Lesbianism, sexism, DV, strong women supporting each other, and witch accusations. I make no apologies for recommending this film every Halloween!
(Haven't watched this version all the way through, hope there's no ads in it. It looks like a much cleaner upload than the last one I saw).
