Turks and Russians have had 17 large scale wars throughout the history. It is a sport for both sides. This struggle defined the status quo in Caucasus, Black Sea, Caspian and the connected regions.
Turks and Iranians haven't thrown a single stone to each other since the Zuhab treaty, which is 400 years old (since the Safavids). We are not friends but we are not enemies either.
These two relationship defined the ecomy poltics of the region.
Without the "full" support of Turks and Russians, no one can change the geopolitics of the Persian peninsula.
