Naw, Islam, once removed from the continent, ceases to be an intellectual force and devolves into what it is today. They never recovered from the Reconquista, which is why they’re not a serious alternative to anything offered by the West. In fact, it allowed Europe to colonize Africa and the Subcontinent by actively denigrating technological progress that wasn’t in their sphere.
