I saw a good question on Twitter the other day. So we are all hearing about Boeing and how unsafe the planes are lately, but the question is are we just hearing about these minor accidents now? What is the baseline vs in the past? Which would make sense, they want us to be afraid of air travel (same with 9/11). It’s about power and control. I wonder what the data says, bc it’s not like there was ever zero risk. Sure, standards have probably gone down, but it’s never what everyone thinks
