Well, unfortunately, nostr is still full of glitches, and I assume that scares away quite some "average" users.
My gf follows me (using damus on ios). Even after a week or so, I do not see her as a follower in my profile created with amethyst and also used via nostter. She also wrote me a dm. I opened it in amethyst, but when i wanted to reply something, a popup telling me that i have to pay something first appeared. I tried to change my profile picture in nostter - did not work. It worked with amethyst though. So basically, every feature I tried so far had glitches.
If I would not love the concept of nostr, I also would have been gone already.
I do not know what the next step is, but probably I have to dig a bit deeper into my profile's relay configuration.
