relative posts on Facebook something like “if you’re not already grateful for what you have what makes you think you’ll be happy with more” and, okay. first of all, I’m grateful for my shit. I was grateful for it 20 years ago when I was so poor I couldn’t afford food and I’m grateful for it now that I can buy myself pickles. being grateful does not mean sitting down and shutting off, and I do not fucking get where that comes from.
