A well-known side effect of sleeping badly is that debugging code is difficult. Today's problem was that a QEMU virtual machine without a virtual network adapter does not, in fact, have network. It only took me four hours and two naps to figure this out.
A lesser-known side effect is buying more than one #FountainPen at a time. Oops.
