In the ongoing sleepless in the South saga, I’ve uncovered something interesting. The drugs I was using to control my allergies may, in fact, be to blame.
Benadryl? Can fuck with your heart. Also….insomnia.
Sudafed? Trouble sleeping is a common side effect. It also shouldn’t be taken if you have high blood pressure.
Since I’ve started taking Apple Cider Vinegar and local honey regularly, I haven’t needed to take this stuff. After the last few weeks, I won’t if I can help it.
