South Australia has been gradually reducing plastic for many years - first starting with plastic bags in 2009. We are use to it now, so there is little pushback.
SA lead the way in Australia, altho got little recognition for it. Not like the fanfare other states got when they followed suit, banning plastic bags in 2018, 2019 and 2022.
