i have been studying some music theory recently and all the people who say that rap isn't music or just yapping words on a beat can go eat shit cuz holy shit there is so much science about how to make a flow sound good. 12/8, 7/8, triplets, gallop, how emphasis changes the way the bars themselves are perceived, even using the amount of syllables and subdividing them against the bpm and time signature of the beat. like...damn
