Look, the bulk of Big Journalism is NOT going to end business as usual in political coverage.
Traditional news orgs are not going to recognize the looming threats to democracy, much less do what's necessary to help save it.
This creates a quandry for those who believe journalism MUST play a key role.
Do we try to replace our most powerful media institutions in time to make a difference? I don't see how.
We're left, then, with routing around them. That, we can do.
