I don't know if they did or didn't. There's nothing wrong w asking for conservation. I also know most people are selfish & won't listen anyway.
Largely what people have heard is bullshit. Sure capacity gets close to trouble from time to time but there hasn't been anything like 2021 before or since.
That's not to say there isn't room for improvement. But, Texas Rs.
It's also pretty fucked up that people sit around in blue states rooting for the Texas power grid to fail.
