to clarify a point, under UK law someone is considered to have "made indecent images" just by receiving digital copies, which is the case for Edwards. He wasn't being prosecuted for taking photographs and he asked for "nothing underage". Obviously he acted illegally and appallingly, however the law is potentially misleading here.
