I'm currently sitting on an Amtrak train, on the last leg of my journey.
The last time I was on one of these, I was cleaning it. Before Forbes, before AMD, before Thunderbird, I was cleaning Amtrak trains overnight for minimum wage.
It was dirty and exhausting, but I didn't hate the work. i had solitude, and I had my music all night.
This brings back so many memories. And it amplifies my appreciation for where I am in my life.
