Lately it feels like there's been an explosion of Twitter alternatives.
Nostr, BlueSky, Substack Notes, Farcaster, Post, etc.
Cool to see the market respond to what is clearly needed. The question remains which platforms will see sustained traction and why.
I expect a lot of dispersal, and then for people to eventually re-congregate around a few.
I personally think Nostr is the best alternative, but it's interesting to think about how and why other platforms might outcompete it.
