CHEVRON CASE EXPLAINED: For 40 years, the American industries have been greatly affected by the unchecked power of the executive branch.

The Supreme Court ruling in the Chevron U.S.A., Inc. v. Natural Resources Defense Council, Inc. lessens the call for holding a Convention of the States, which is the only way to change the Constitution without Congress.

Article V of the Constitution states that amendments to the Constitution may be ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths (38 of the 50 states), as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress.

Per the Supreme Court’s ruling in Chevron, unelected bureaucrats have too much power to hold legislative and judicial power, so it returned judicial function back to the courts.

For example, the current war on fossil fuel vehicles was orchestrated by alphabet agencies. The ruling in Chevron will reduce the regulatory overreach of the unaccountable bureaucracy of the executive branch in the auto industry.

The Chevron case is a victory for American businesses and workers.
