I am a longtime critic of the Dems, and I am far to the left of the party as a whole. I share most of the positions of the many protesters outside the DNC right now. That being said, the idea that someone could watch the RNC and the DNC and say there is “no difference” between these parties is infuriating to me. The policy positions, tone, lead voices, central values—they are vastly different. (1/n)
