Just had our driveways paved this week. So, off to the bank I go for cash.
I can’t ever take cash out without being grilled. This time I was asked
What’s the money for? I reply, I need cash.
Then the kicker, what do you do for a living? I reply, nothing.
The teller stares me down, and I just smile.
I then say why do you ask?
I’m told they have to fill out a form for large cash withdrawals.
This was well under what I thought was the threshold of $10k!?
