IME, Gmail's false positive and false negative rate has been worse than every random uni dept email address I had as well as when I had an email address on a server with no spam filtering and I did it client side. With Gmail, I get https://mastodon.social/@danluu/109919293479394809, https://twitter.com/danluu/status/1514019521123663873, etc., and I've never had it nearly that bad with small hosts.
Is this a situation like https://mastodon.social/@danluu/111672597118426587, where people just repeat something without ever checking it?
