It's absolutely insane how people are like "capitalism is rational" but there are 20 houses for every homeless person and switching to renewable electricity would produce so much power that we literally couldn't use it all, but we still use planet destroying fossil fuels. God why can't people override the free market and make decisions that make sense from a social perspective and not a profit-driven perspective?
